We are looking for a Catalog Operations Manager to drive and scale catalog quality improvements across our Grocery & Retail business. This role sits at the intersection of operations, analytics, and product, and plays a critical role in improving customer experience and merchant performance through high-quality catalog data. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and operational excellence to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Work with retail partners to improve the quality of their catalog integration with Uber Eats
End to end project ownership to drive improved catalog quality, including SKU expansion, product attribute enrichment, product searchability enhancement, etc
Lead go to market for new catalog product features in Japan, from launch preparation through post-launch stabilization
Analyze catalog performance data by using SQL and creating internal dashboards to identify quality gaps, and opportunities to drive improvement of key business metrics like add-to-cart conversion, average order size, item fulfillment rate, and more
Design scalable processes and workflows to improve catalog quality
Solve day-to-day operational and product-related issues
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in Operations, Product Management, or similar roles
Ability to manage ambiguous problems and structure them into clear, solvable components
Willingness to dive into the details - to literally walk the aisles of our merchants to understand every detail of their operations
Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in SQL
Strong stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams

Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, grocery, retail, CPG, or catalog-related domains
Experience defining or operating data quality standards or operational KPIs
