Job Description:

The Bottle-O, Narara is looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Retail Assistant to join our team. You’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable shopping experience for every customer who walks through our doors. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting. You will be passionate about building rapport, sharing product knowledge, and helping customers discover something new, whether it’s a boutique wine, a local craft beer, or a premium spirit. The position will be 10-15 hours per week and require flexibility around different shifts.

Job Responsibility:

Greeting customers warmly, answering product-related questions, and offering tailored recommendations based on their preferences
Operating the point-of-sale system efficiently, handling cash and card payments, and ensuring accurate transactions
Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock, and replenishing shelves
Keeping the store clean, organised, and visually appealing
Ensuring all sales are conducted in accordance with Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations

Requirements:

Valid RSA Certificate
Previous Retail, hospitality or customer service experience is ideal
Strong customer service and communication skills
Flexibility for different shifts
Team player who will contribute to a friendly working environment
