Job Description:

This is an ad hoc position, based at Norwich Airport, for a Casual HR Assistant to join the team. The main scope is to assist the HR Manager in providing a high quality and professional HR service to Norwich Airport.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparation of job offers, employment contracts and contract variations
  • Administration of the new starter process including obtaining references and preparing induction paperwork
  • Monitor probationary periods
  • Monitor sickness absence and arranging OH medicals
  • Administration of the leaver process including processing resignations and arranging exit interviews
  • Act as a point of contact for basic employee queries
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager through all aspects of the employee life cycle
  • Ensure accurate electronic employment records are maintained in accordance with GDPR
  • Work closely with the Payroll Team
  • Undertake other tasks as required to assist in the general functioning of the HR department

Requirements:

  • Produce documents to verify entitlement to work in the UK
  • Provide appropriate evidence of eligibility to work in the UK for foreign nationals (work permit/visa)
