We welcome applications for this support post to commence August 2026. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: To take the College Football Academy team matches on Wednesdays, 12.00 -17.00 and training sessions on Monday and Friday 8.30 - 10.30. To arrange and confirm fixtures. To book transport and referees for teams (Up to 1 hour of administration time given). To undertake departmental administration – for example to respond to phone calls, emails etc. To publicise events at St Augustine’s and Factory Lane to staff and students. Cardinal Newman College is a wonderful place to work, and this is an exciting opportunity for a enthusiastic and experienced candidate to join our friendly and well established Sport and Physical Education department. The Sport and Physical Education department is looking for someone who has a Football Coaching Certificate (Level 2 or higher), a passion for sport, evidence by performance, experience or higher study and has good communication skills. You should display the values, attitudes, and behaviours consistent with the Catholic Ethos of the College and have a commitment to equality/diversity and the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.

Job Responsibility
