Job Description:

Joining as a casual colleague allows perfect work/life balance as you can tell us when you are available. Provide experiences and opportunities that will help children be confident and reach their potential. The needs of military families are unique, and at RAFAKidz we take extra care to make sure those needs are met.

Job Responsibility:

  • Being hands on and creative with messy and outdoor play activities
  • Helping with meals and snack times
  • Keeping records on children’s progress and daily activities and adventures
  • Maintaining highest standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene
  • Meet and greet families and build great relationships

Requirements:

  • Genuine love of children
  • Warmth
  • Patience
  • Great sense of humour
  • Satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience within a childcare setting
  • Willingness to learn from colleagues to understand EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
