Job Description:

Joining as a casual colleague for a nursery group creating special, unique, and child-focused experiences. The role involves providing experiences and opportunities to help children be confident and reach their potential, with a focus on meeting the unique needs of military families.

Job Responsibility:

  • Being hands on and creative with messy and outdoor play activities
  • Helping with meals and snack times
  • Keeping records on children’s progress and daily activities and adventures
  • Maintaining highest standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene
  • Meet and greet families and build great relationships

Requirements:

  • Genuine love of children
  • Warmth
  • Patience
  • Great sense of humour
  • Satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience within a childcare setting
  • Willingness to learn from colleagues to understand EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
