Job Description:

Joining us as a casual colleague allows you the perfect work / life balance as you can tell us when you are available. If your new to childcare or looking to keep your skills up to date with a more flexible working arrangement then please do consider applying. Over 60% of our casual workforce enjoyed getting to know us this way and changed to permanent contracts when roles became available.

Requirements:

  • Being hands on and creative with messy and outdoor play activities
  • Helping with meals and snack times
  • Keeping records on children’s progress and daily activities and adventures
  • Maintaining highest standards of safety, cleanliness and hygiene
  • Meet and greet families and build great relationships
  • Be willing to learn from colleagues to understand EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
  • A satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience within a childcare setting
  • A genuine love of children, warmth, patience and a great sense of humour
