Requirements
Graduate of an approved Registered Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing Program
Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Valid Ontario Driver's License and access to a reliable personal vehicle
Demonstrated strong nursing knowledge, clinical skills, and sound professional judgment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including effective verbal and written communication
Demonstrated critical thinking, leadership, and mentoring abilities
Proficiency with computer systems, electronic documentation, and healthcare applications
Commitment to practicing in accordance with Riverside Health Care's Code of Conduct
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays as required
Knowledge of and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation, policies, procedures, and worker responsibilities
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, front-line staff, clients, families, and management
Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment with excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Dependable with a satisfactory attendance record
Proven ability to perform the essential duties of the position on a regular basis
