Job Description:

Casual, variable hours role providing cover at a nursery in Sheffield. The role involves creating a warm, caring, and inspiring environment for children, supporting their learning through play and creative activities within the EYFS framework, and celebrating the diversity of the community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed (for periods of holiday, sickness, or vacancy gaps)
  • Supporting for a full day, or a morning or afternoon session
  • Teaching young children through hands on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games
  • Working within the EYFS standards
  • Engaging creative flair and enthusiasm for learning

Requirements:

  • A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years
  • Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5, is advantageous
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable
