A rare and exceptional role has emerged at one of Ireland's most exciting new luxury historic castle in the Midlands, opening its doors to private clientele for the very first time. This is not a conventional general manager role. It is something altogether different. As Castle Manager, you will be the beating heart of this property - part host, part leader, part guardian of an extraordinary heritage. Operating within an ultra-luxury, privately hosted model, you will curate deeply personal experiences for guests.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all day-to-day castle operations - accommodation, dining, grounds and events
Be personally present at key guest moments: arrival, dinner, departure
Lead pre-arrival guest profiling and bespoke journey planning
Maintain immaculate presentation and operational standards throughout
Recruit, coach and develop a small, cross-trained high-performance team
Build relationships with luxury travel advisors and key local partners
Ensure full regulatory, safety and compliance standards are upheld
Requirements:
3-4+ years of senior luxury hospitality leadership
Experience ideally within a castle, country house, or ultra-luxury boutique property
Experience with Forbes 5-Star, LQA, or Michelin 3 Keys standards is highly advantageous
Background in pre-opening properties or exclusive-use venues is advantageous
Full-service luxury castles or private country houses background
Ultra-luxury boutique hotels or private residence director roles background
Exclusive use / private hire properties for weddings and events background
International luxury hospitality background
Ireland experience a plus
Nice to have:
Experience with Forbes 5-Star, LQA, or Michelin 3 Keys standards
Background in pre-opening properties or exclusive-use venues
