Narrative is a fast-growing digital video advertising agency with a wide range of e-commerce clients. We are working with some of the biggest consumer brands, and as we grow rapidly, are looking for more talented people to join our team! We produce and rigorously test hundreds of video ads for our clients to support their marketing efforts on social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more. Many of the biggest direct-to-consumer brands in America rely on our team to drive their business growth. The Casting Associate is responsible for coordinating and executing all stages of the casting process for various brands. This includes talent sourcing, communication, logistics, and scheduling, while ensuring smooth execution from briefing to shoot day to coordination of talent payments.
Job Responsibility
Lead the sourcing and selection of talent aligned with dedicated brands
Coordinate all communication and logistics with talent, ensuring accuracy in availability, information, and delivery timelines
Ensure all required props, products, and paperwork are arranged/delivered to talent before shoot briefings
Schedule and confirm debrief calls and follow up to ensure timely production
Oversee talent document management, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper organization
Monitor footage delivery, ensuring it is moved and organized appropriately, and transcripts are completed
Maintain up-to-date records in project tools and talent tracking spreadsheets
Support Jr. Casting Associates with troubleshooting and workflow optimization
Liaise with the content, strategy, account department, and associate producers to facilitate timely footage delivery
Update other departments by sending daily recaps and tagging team members for next steps
Collaborate with the Casting Director and Senior Casting Associate to ensure casting timelines are met
Attend and contribute to casting meetings and process development discussions
Requirements
12 years of experience in casting, or prior experience as a Casting Assistant
Strong research skills for sourcing and identifying talent
Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and interpersonal
Ability to assess talent, including on-camera presence, acting ability, and role suitability
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, especially in managing schedules, callbacks, and auditions
Exceptional attention to detail when reviewing reels, portfolios, and talent submissions
Ability to work under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced production environment
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling contracts, talent information, and sensitive materials
