Job Description:

Ensure a positive payment experience for customers by maintaining the checkout area, managing checkout procedures, and inspiring the team. Monitor compliance with financial and tax regulations, handle customer feedback, and drive improvements. Recruit and train staff, manage costs, and promote IKEA values.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure our customers a positive payment experience by ensuring the check-out area is in shape as new, our check-outs are efficiently equipped at all times throughout the day
  • Monitor and ensure that all cash line routines regarding the financial aspects comply with the country’s tax regulations and ensure the security of money handling
  • Optimize the relationship with our customers when they are paying for products in order to increase customer satisfaction, acting on customer feedback in order to make improvements to our service
  • Identify root cause of recurring problems, agreeing and implementing improved ways of working and following-up to ensure we have been successful in resolving the problem for future customers
  • Inspire towards a customer focused work culture and behavior as per the IKEA Values and the respective guidelines
  • Closely monitor, control and improve all operating costs and KPIs’ related to the area of responsibility
  • Use the IKEA tools and expertise of our colleagues to support in achieving business goals
  • Act as a hiring manager – take an active role in hiring new people
  • Secure our check-out team has the knowledge and understanding the IKEA Concept, confidence, responsibility and desire to support customer payment
  • Support the check-out co-workers when they cannot resolve a customer’s need, dealing positively and quickly with issues raised by our customers
  • Provide an inspiring and motivating direction for the team and its individual members to ensure development and succession

Requirements:

  • You are very strong Customer Focused person
  • You have good people management skills
  • You are achievement drive, initiative taking and problem solving skills
  • You have good planning, organizational and problem solving skills
  • You own very good communication skills and team oriented personality
  • You are able to work under pressure and strict deadlines
  • You have very good command of the Bulgarian & English language
  • You are able to work with Ms Office at a good level
  • If you have a similar experience in customer service field, it will be considered as an advantage
