Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Follow cash handling procedures to ensure the security of money handling
ensure check-out is effectively equipped at all times throughout the day and be ready and available to help customers when needed
have knowledge, confidence, and desire to make customer payment easy
ensure the IKEA store is a safe and secure environment at all times for visitors and colleagues
optimize the relationship with customers when they pay for products to drive increased customer satisfaction
work together with other functions to improve the shopping experience of customers to generate more sales

Requirements:

Experience working in a customer service role and a fast-paced retail environment
keen to details by being persistent, structured, and accurate
strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers
strong team player who values togetherness, is committed to your role, and has a strong customer serviced focus mindset
ability to remain calm and controlled and provide solutions in stressful situations
computer literate
high level of integrity
