Job Description:

Cashier role at IKEA Pasay City focused on customer service and checkout operations within the vibrant retail environment.

Job Responsibility:

Follow cash handling procedures to ensure the security of money handling
ensure check-out is effectively equipped at all times throughout the day and ready to help customers when needed
possess knowledge, confidence, and desire to make customer payment easy
ensure the IKEA store is a safe and secure environment at all times for visitors and colleagues
optimize the relationship with customers when they pay for products, to drive increased customer satisfaction and create the desire for them to return and shop again
work together with other functions to improve the shopping experience of customers to generate more sales

Requirements:

Experience working in a customer service role and a fast-paced retail environment
keen to details by being persistent, structured, and accurate
strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable building rapport with customers
strong team player who values togetherness, is committed to the role, and possesses a strong customer-service-focused mindset
ability to remain calm and controlled and provide solutions in stressful situations with customers
computer literate
work with a high level of integrity
