This fantastic dining location allows our guests to dine inside the clubhouse or to enjoy meal on its outdoor dining terrace. Menu items include a contemporary selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and tempting desserts. As a Cashier/Hostess/Host, you will welcome guests with hospitality and courtesy by meeting, greeting and seating them as they arrive for meals.
Job Responsibility:
Welcomes guests with hospitality and courtesy by meeting, greeting and seating them as they arrive for meals
Maintains a waiting list
Operates register to handle cash and charge transactions for restaurant facilities
Provides consistent quality accounting for all guest checks
Assists in stocking and maintaining retail space in restaurant
Balances work at the end of shift
Performs other duties as required to exceed guests' expectations
Helps expedite smooth, efficient and timely turnover of dining room tables
Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age according to Virginia Code § 4.1-307
Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Very good math and oral communication skills
Ability to (1) accurately handle large sums of money under pressure
