Cashier - Grab and Go

• Set up and break down the Grab and Go area according to established procedures
• Prepare food items in advance
• Perform duties in a timely, expeditious and professional manner
• Provide outstanding guest service utilizing the Tesuque Proud Service Standards
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Greet all customers politely as they approach the counter for ordering
• Enter guest orders into the POS system
• Monitor orders and ensure their prompt delivery
• Help package food in boxes and bags
• Help cook food and otherwise remain at register
• Up-sell in-store promotions
• Listen to and resolve customer complaints
• Keep the counter, beverage and dining area neat and clean
• Sweep, vacuum and mop the floor regularly
• Restock napkins, straws, lids, and other supplies
• Handle bank transactions
• Inventory supplies and goods with supervising manager
• Take money from customers and provide correct change
• Process credit card, debit card and voucher transactions
• Keep track of a cash drawer and ensure it is balanced at the end of the shift

• At least one (1) year prior money handling experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen

• Preferred experience in restaurant and/or other type of food and beverage operation
• Customer service focused and solution oriented
• Ability to attain Food Handlers certification
