Job Description:

As a Cashier-Food & Beverage Services at Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, you will process all payment methods in accordance with procedures, follow safety and security policies, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Job Responsibility:

Process all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures
Follow property control audit standards and cash handling procedures
Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
Set up and organize cashier workstation with designated supplies
Maintain cleanliness of workstation
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Ensure quality expectations and standards are met
Enter and locate work-related information using computers or point of sale systems.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience required
Clear and professional communication skills
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Adherence to company safety and security policies.
