As a Cash Management Solution Sales Manager, you will be a strategic and influential professional, driving the development and application of advanced cash management solutions. You will leverage your deep expertise to shape directional strategy and deliver complex solutions that significantly impact our business and clients. This role demands exceptional communication and diplomacy to effectively guide, influence, and collaborate with internal partners and external customers, contributing to the overall performance and effectiveness of our sales function.
Job Responsibility:
Client Relationship & Business Development: Actively partner with Relationship Managers to engage existing clients, deepen relationships, and proactively anticipate future cash management needs, challenges, or risks. Identify and pursue new client opportunities that align with Citi's value proposition
Strategic Advisory & Solution Innovation: Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to Relationship Managers and clients, driving innovative cash management solutions. Structure deals effectively to balance client objectives with prudent risk and reward considerations
Mentorship & Collaboration: Share expertise, market insights, and best practices with sales colleagues and junior staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment
Strategic Execution: Lead and execute key strategic initiatives within the cash management sales function, driving measurable outcomes
Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure continuous adherence to all regulatory requirements and Citi's internal policies and guidelines. Proactively assess and manage risks in all business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets
Requirements:
6-10+ years of progressive experience in commercial banking or cash management sales
Demonstrated success in growing and developing client relationships within a complex financial services environment
Strong understanding of cash management products, services, and market trends
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence and negotiate
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required
Master's degree preferred
