Cash Auditor (entry level)

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate reconciliation of consolidated store bank accounts
  • Specific functions include correcting store over/short issues relating to bank deposits, researching missing deposits, debit memos, etc. through utilization of online information or direct contact with the respective bank, and final resolution of reconciling cash items through utilization of Lawson and ReconNet software
  • Reconcile consolidated bank activity to the general ledger
  • Identify and communicate over/short and missing deposit issues
  • Research District manager and store manager questions and issues
  • Research bank zero account activity

Requirements

  • Associate degree or 2 years toward Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of applicable experience accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of the bank reconciliation process
