Job Description:

Cash Applications Specialist role responsible for cash applications for multiple entities under the umbrella of the company. The role reports to the VP Finance and has opportunity for growth.

Job Responsibility:

Apply and post checks and cash received
Process payments via electronic upload for lockbox and miscellaneous accounts
Process customer payments (wires, credit cards, etc.)
Investigate and resolve customer queries
Generate daily revenue postings with validation to daily reports
Verify account discrepancies
Generate monthly account statements
Reconcile customer accounts as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in AR, preferably in a manufacturing environment
High school diploma or GED
Experienced in large and small company settings
Highly developed teamwork and partnership skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently, and as part of a team
Proficiency in accounts receivable functions, including cash applications, billing, and account reconciliation
Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

Experience in manufacturing environment
Understanding of smaller company growth opportunities and expectations
