Job Description:

The role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service and accurately processing a variety of financial transactions for clients. It is crucial for maintaining the bank's reputation and ensuring compliance with financial regulations in daily operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cashing checks
  • Handle cash, balance currency, and reconcile cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Manage different types of reports for regulator
  • Assist customers with account inquiries, resolve basic transaction discrepancies, and provide information as requested by partners and regulators
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, building rapport and identifying opportunities to refer customers to appropriate banking specialists
  • Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, demonstrating a strong focus on risk management and fraud prevention
  • Collaborate effectively with branch team members to achieve operational goals and enhance the customer experience
  • Safeguard bank assets by following security protocols and maintaining confidentiality of customer information

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cash handling, customer service, or a related field is preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English and French
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Act as an approver in the new deal review process when FMI risks are involved, with focus on potential risks, risk mitigation, and any regulatory engagement requirements
  • Approve new FMI memberships and material changes in existing FMIs
