The Status Review Unit carries out complex investigations to protect the integrity of the UK immigration system. As a Caseworker, you will assess whether individuals have obtained or retained immigration status through fraud, deception, or changes in circumstances, and make clear, high-quality decisions based on evidence.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and progress your own caseload, completing investigations thoroughly and on time
Gather and analyse evidence using a range of intelligence tools and systems
Conduct investigative interviews where required
Make well-reasoned, defensible decisions on immigration status
Draft clear, high-quality decision letters
Stay up to date with relevant legislation, rules and policy
Work collaboratively across the unit and contribute to continuous improvement
Maintain high professional standards and handle sensitive information securely
Requirements:
Must hold a valid passport
Must have lived in the UK for longer than 5 years
Must not have spent 6 months or longer outside the UK in the last 5 years
Security clearance (SC + Basic DBS) will be processed for successful candidates
