Job Description

Case Worker role for the Mental Health Floating Support Service in Milton Keynes, providing housing-related support to help people avoid homelessness, sustain tenancy, and maintain independence.

Job Responsibility

  • Work alongside clients to identify issues affecting their lives and mental health and support them to find practical solutions
  • Signposting or supporting access to services such as debt or benefits advice, physical or mental wellbeing support, addiction recovery services, education, training, or employment opportunities, community or social activities
  • Encourage people to connect with family, friends, and local networks
  • Empower clients to develop life skills, build confidence, and strengthen resilience

Requirements

  • Experience working with people who have enduring mental health needs, ideally using a trauma-informed/conscious approach
  • Basic IT skills to record case notes and send emails
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
