We are looking for a detail-oriented Case Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in managing and reviewing client cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing essential support to individuals in need. This role involves regular client interaction, analytical decision-making, and a commitment to delivering high-quality case management services. This role requires fluency in Pashto, Farsi, and/or Dari.
Job Responsibility:
Review and analyze client applications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and sustainability of the requests
Provide case management services, including assisting clients with housing referrals and other necessary support
Maintain accurate and organized case files, updating them regularly to reflect the latest information
Communicate with clients to verify details such as current address and financial status, ensuring proper follow-up
Collaborate with supervisors to finalize case reviews and approve funding requests
Respond to inquiries from clients and stakeholders, offering clear and helpful information
Conduct routine follow-ups on existing cases to ensure continued compliance and resolve any outstanding issues
Support training efforts for new team members and maintain consistency in case processing procedures
Ensure all documentation complies with organizational standards and policies
Make informed decisions on cases based on thorough analysis and logical reasoning
Requirements:
Proficiency in speaking Pashto, Dari, and/or Farsi, with strong communication skills
Previous experience in case management or client service roles
Ability to analyze client applications and make logical, informed decisions
Strong organizational skills, with a focus on file maintenance and accuracy
Experience in social services or working with individuals requiring housing assistance
Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals
Familiarity with housing assistance programs and related processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
