The Case Preparation Officer (CPO) works closely with ARB's solicitors to prepare and manage cases for consideration by the Professional Conduct Committee (PCC). Working proactively and independently, the postholder oversees a caseload of complaints of varying complexity. They are responsible for monitoring the progress and cost of cases handled by ARB's solicitors, ensuring cases progress in a timely manner, identifying and resolving issues where they arise. The CPO ensures cases are thoroughly investigated and all necessary documentation is complete before cases are referred for scheduling. The CPO is responsible for obtaining witness evidence and drafting reports and consent orders for submission to ARB's solicitors and the PCC.
