We are looking for an experienced Case Managing Attorney to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil litigation and a passion for representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex legal matters, including asbestos litigation and jury trials, while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Job Responsibility:
Represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including asbestos litigation, from initial consultation through resolution
Manage all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting motions, briefing, and conducting discovery
Prepare and present cases for jury trials, ensuring thorough legal analysis and strategic planning
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert legal advice
Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and decision-making
Maintain clear communication with clients and other stakeholders throughout the litigation process
Monitor case progress and manage deadlines to ensure timely completion of legal tasks
Work closely with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm to share insights and improve case outcomes
Requirements:
Active license to practice law in the state of Missouri
Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation
Proven expertise in handling plaintiff-focused litigation, including personal injury and asbestos cases
Strong skills in drafting motions, conducting discovery, and legal briefing
Demonstrated ability to prepare for and conduct jury trials
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop sound legal strategies
