We are looking for an experienced Case Managing Attorney to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil litigation and a passion for representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex legal matters, including asbestos litigation and jury trials, while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases, including asbestos litigation, from initial consultation through resolution
  • Manage all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting motions, briefing, and conducting discovery
  • Prepare and present cases for jury trials, ensuring thorough legal analysis and strategic planning
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert legal advice
  • Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and decision-making
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and other stakeholders throughout the litigation process
  • Monitor case progress and manage deadlines to ensure timely completion of legal tasks
  • Work closely with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm to share insights and improve case outcomes

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Missouri
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation
  • Proven expertise in handling plaintiff-focused litigation, including personal injury and asbestos cases
  • Strong skills in drafting motions, conducting discovery, and legal briefing
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare for and conduct jury trials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop sound legal strategies
