We are looking for a dedicated Case Manager to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between healthcare professionals providing medical legal services and the attorneys or paralegals who retain them. Job Responsibility:
Act as the main point of contact between medical experts and legal teams, facilitating smooth communication and coordination
Schedule meetings, teleconferences, and medical evaluations while tracking deadlines and ensuring timely completion
Review, process, and dispatch incoming records, maintaining quality control to ensure completeness and accuracy
Manage expert timesheets and prepare billing submissions for case reviews
Monitor and maintain electronic records to ensure proper storage and accessibility
Address inquiries from legal teams and medical experts, providing exceptional customer service
Collaborate with team members to support case management workflows and ensure efficiency
Organize and prioritize tasks to meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Word
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and manage time-sensitive priorities effectively
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Capacity to work both independently and within a team environment
Experience working in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills
At least 2 years of experience working with medical experts, preferably as a paralegal
