We are looking for an experienced Case Manager to support a personal injury practice in Sacramento, California. This position is ideal for someone who can manage a busy caseload with accuracy, communicate confidently with clients, and stay organized while working independently. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to pre-litigation matters, coordinate essential case materials, and help deliver a high standard of service throughout the client experience.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee day-to-day case activity for personal injury plaintiff matters, ensuring files remain current, organized, and moving forward on schedule
Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, gather information, and support a positive intake and case management experience
Maintain accurate records by entering case details, correspondence, and status updates into internal systems with close attention to detail
Request, review, and organize medical records and other supporting documents needed for pre-litigation case development
Coordinate with attorneys, medical providers, insurance representatives, and other parties to keep matters progressing efficiently
Prepare case-related documentation, correspondence, and administrative materials using standard office software, including Microsoft Outlook
Manage deadlines, follow-ups, and outstanding tasks independently while balancing multiple priorities across an active caseload
Provide general administrative support connected to file management, document handling, and client communications as needed
Requirements:
At least two years of case management experience in a personal injury law firm environment is required
Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining strong organization across multiple active files
Experience supporting personal injury plaintiff matters, particularly in a pre-litigation setting
Proficiency in client intake, data entry, and administrative coordination within a legal office
Familiarity with obtaining, tracking, and organizing medical records and related case documentation
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and external contacts
Bilingual communication ability is valued for this role
Comfort using Microsoft Outlook and other common office tools in a fast-paced setting
