Job Responsibility:
Assess clients’ needs through detailed interviews and develop personalized care plans
Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health support
Coordinate services related to addiction counseling, child welfare, Section 8 housing, Medicare, and workforce development programs
Utilize motivational interviewing techniques
Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting plans as necessary
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, healthcare providers, childcare specialists, and community organizations
Supervise junior staff or interns when applicable, providing guidance and mentorship
Requirements:
Strong expertise in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies
Knowledge of behavioral health issues, addiction counseling methods, and social work principles
Experience in supervising or mentoring team members or interns within social service settings
Familiarity with housing programs such as Section 8 and healthcare systems like Medicare
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients using techniques like motivational interviewing
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality
