Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Case Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced Overland Park office. This role involves managing cases from initiation to resolution while providing critical legal support to attorneys. Responsibilities include maintaining case files, monitoring timelines, reviewing medical records, handling administrative tasks, and engaging in regular client communication. You’ll gain real-world legal experience while working alongside skilled attorneys engaged in litigation across state and federal courts in the Midwest.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct legal research, analyze regulations, articles, and laws
File and maintain briefs, exhibits, appeals, and other case documents
Prepare arguments, motions, and agreements while summarizing interrogatories, testimonies, and depositions
Schedule interviews, depositions, and meetings with clients, witnesses, and external parties
Help attorneys by reviewing trial transcripts, tracking deadlines, obtaining affidavits, and organizing calendars.

Requirements:

0-5+ years of litigation experience (preferably in medical injury, product liability, or wrongful death cases)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to edit and proofread legal documents accurately
Familiarity with court procedures and timelines
Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
