Job Description:

Help to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND in Gloucestershire. The role is within the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) service which plays a crucial role in supporting children and young people who require additional assistance to achieve their short and long-term goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate closely with education providers
  • Build strong, productive relationships across education, health, social care, young people and families
  • Improve outcomes and ensure access to inclusive, appropriate education for all children and young people with SEND

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative and creative approach to working with professionals, children, young people, and families

  • Competence to assess and review needs of vulnerable children and young people
  • Relevant experience and knowledge
