Help to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND in Gloucestershire. The role is within the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) service which plays a crucial role in supporting children and young people who require additional assistance to achieve their short and long-term goals.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate closely with education providers
Build strong, productive relationships across education, health, social care, young people and families
Improve outcomes and ensure access to inclusive, appropriate education for all children and young people with SEND
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills
Collaborative and creative approach to working with professionals, children, young people, and families
Ability to analyse information from various sources and develop plans
Empathy for challenges faced by young people and families
Competence to assess and review needs of vulnerable children and young people
Relevant experience and knowledge
Solid understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and its practical application
Right to work enabling commitment to at least 6 months employment
Ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in fluent English (legal requirement for customer facing roles)
