Job Description

An entry‑level opportunity as a Case Assistant supporting employment‑based immigration matters. This Case Assistant role is ideal for an early‑career candidate interested in immigration and legal operations, with strong attention to detail and process follow‑through.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist with preparation and filing of employment-based immigration petitions and applications (H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM, I-140, I-485, EAD, AP)
  • Collect, organize, and review supporting documentation from clients, beneficiaries, and employers
  • Maintain case files, deadlines, and status updates across multiple matters
  • Coordinate filing steps, forms, and supporting evidence under attorney supervision
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding document requests and case progress
  • Track expirations, RFEs, and filing receipts using case management systems
  • Support attorneys and paralegals with administrative and case-related tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (legal studies, political science, international studies, or related field preferred)
  • Internship, clerical, or administrative experience in a legal or professional services environment a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines and handle repetitive, process-driven work
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in employment-based immigration and long-term growth in the field
  • Experience with case management systems or immigration software is a plus but not required

Nice to have

  • Internship, clerical, or administrative experience in a legal or professional services environment
