Case Administrator (Probation Service) - Liverpool Our client, a reputable organisation within the Probation Service, is hiring for a full-time temporary Case Administrator in Liverpool. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support vital community work, ensuring efficient case management and administrative processes. What you'll be doing: * Setting up and maintaining accurate records on probation and victim databases. * Managing referrals and fostering effective relationships with offender management teams, victims, and external agencies. * Preparing and collating case files, records, and management information. * Handling communications via telephone, email, and paper, ensuring confidentiality at all times. * Providing reception and telephone enquiry support. * Acting as a point of contact for specialist areas within the team. * Assisting with practical arrangements such as appointments and sentence plan implementations. * Carrying out enforcement administration and financial record-keeping. * Organising resources, equipment, and facilities for case management. * Supporting meetings through agenda organisation, minute-taking, and follow-up. * Upholding health and safety policies and safeguarding responsibilities. * Demonstrating pro-social behaviour and working in line with the organisation's values. Additional details: * Location: Liverpool * Contract: until 31/12/26, with potential extension * Working hours: 37 per week, Mon-Fri 9-5, with occasional evening shifts on a rota basis * Pay rate: £12.71 per hour * This role involves some out-of-hours work and requires adherence to all confidentiality and safeguarding policies. Ideal candidates will also have: * Experience in administrative roles within complex environments. * Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, including those in distress or displaying challenging behaviour. * Basic numeric skills and experience working with databases. Eligibility & Requirements: * All candidates will undergo security checks. * HMPPS vetting process required, which can take approximately 6 weeks. * Successful applicants cannot start until all clearances are in place.
