Job Description:

A part-time role at IKEA for a Carts & Loading Attendant involves ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience by providing efficient car loading/unloading services, maintaining physical shopping tools, addressing customer needs, and supporting in other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out, Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs and extended periods of walking, with outdoor work 50% of the time. Job Responsibility:

Provide friendly and efficient car loading and unloading services while keeping the loading zone clean by clearing away straps, excess carts, and cardboard
ensure that all physical shopping tools, including carts, pencils, yellow bags, maps, and twine, are adequately stocked and maintained throughout the store during business hours
ensure physical shopping tools are filled at closing
monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, report any IT issues, and remove any physical stands or tools that are unsafe
address customer needs, resolve issues independently, escalate matters to a manager when needed
support in other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect as needed
contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers
