Job Description:

As a Carts & Loading Attendant, you will ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for customers by providing car loading/unloading services, maintaining physical shopping tools, and monitoring the retail environment. Responsibilities include addressing customer needs and providing support in other areas like Full Serve Hand Out or Click & Collect. This role emphasizes a strong team culture in a multichannel retail environment.

Job Responsibility:

Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services while keeping the loading zone clean
ensure physical shopping tools including carts, pencils, yellow bags, maps, and twine are adequately stocked and maintained
monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, report IT issues, and remove unsafe tools
address customer needs, resolve issues independently, escalate matters to a manager when needed
support in other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out, Exchanges & Returns, Click & Collect
contribute to maintaining the IKEA culture by embracing diversity of co-workers and customers

Requirements:

Lifting up to 50lbs
walking frequently
fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends
outdoor work 50% of the time
complete a background check
complete a drug test
