Job Description:

As a Carts Co-worker at IKEA, you will ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for customers by managing carts, stocking shopping tools, and supporting in customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out, Returns, and Click & Collect. This role focuses on maintaining physical tools, assisting customers, and contributing to a positive culture that embraces diversity.

Job Responsibility:

Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services
keep the loading zone clean by clearing away straps, excess carts, and cardboard
ensure all physical shopping tools, including carts, pencils, yellow bags, maps, and twine, are adequately stocked and maintained
ensure physical shopping tools are filled at closing
monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools
report IT issues
remove any physical stands or tools that are unsafe
address customer needs and resolve issues
escalate matters to a manager when needed
support in Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO)
provide a simple and efficient handout experience
support in Returns for products and equipment staging
support Click & Collect with accurate order handoff
contribute to an environment supporting IKEA culture and diversity

Requirements:

Lifting up to 50lbs
walking frequently
willingness to work outdoors 50% of the time
