Job Description:

Join IKEA as a Carts Attendant in Paramus, NJ, United States. Ensure an enjoyable shopping experience by maintaining the loading zone, physical shopping tools, and supporting customer needs in other services such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, and Click & Collect.

Job Responsibility:

Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services while keeping the loading zone clean by clearing away straps, excess carts, and cardboard
ensure that all physical shopping tools, including carts, pencils, yellow bags, maps, and twine, are adequately stocked and maintained throughout the store during business hours
ensure physical shopping tool are filled at closing
monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools and report any IT issues
remove any physical stands or tools that are unsafe
address customer needs and resolve issues independently
escalate matters to a manager when needed
support in other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, Click & Collect as needed
contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers

Requirements:

Lifting up to 50lbs and walking frequently
must have completely open working availability from Mondays to Saturdays between the hours of 9:30AM to 10:30PM
