Job Description:

With my client's business flourishing, they're in search of a seasoned Cartage Coordinator to join the operations team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate timely deliveries & inform clients
  • Arrange quarantine inspection bookings as per directions
  • Accounts receivable and monitoring COD payments
  • Manage the status of jobs through maintaining accurate data within CargoWise and communication exceptions and delays to stakeholders
  • Arrange in accordance with customs require
  • Book cartage with internal or external carrier
  • Plan internal truck run sheet & updating timesheet
  • Advise external customers of delivery notice
  • Inform customers of delays
  • COD checklist for outstanding payments
  • Client Empty Form to external FCL client
  • Processing Empty returns to external FCL cartage provider.
  • Registering airfreight B Jobs
  • Booking Quarantine Inspections as per directions
  • Follow up outturns reports for B jobs
  • Action outturn reports
  • Monitor shipment custom status via ICS
  • Liaise with interstate office and arrange local cartage

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months industry experience, have sound knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Cartage Coordinator role
  • Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding terminology
  • Keen focus on details coupled with efficient organizational abilities.
  • Effective task prioritization in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Dedicated client focus, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Motivated, flexible, and forward-thinking
  • Positive attitude & team player
