Job Description:

A part-time job at IKEA, working 12-20 hours per week, providing cart services, customer support, and ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience. Includes tasks like loading/unloading cars, maintaining shopping tools, addressing customer needs, and assisting in Click & Collect, Exchanges, and Returns.

Job Responsibility:

Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services
keep the loading zone clean by clearing away straps, excess carts, and cardboard
ensure that all physical shopping tools, including carts, pencils, yellow bags, maps, and twine, are adequately stocked and maintained throughout the store during business hours
ensure physical shopping tools are filled at closing
monitor the condition of physical and digital shopping tools, report any IT issues, and remove any physical stands or tools that are unsafe
address customer needs, resolve issues independently, escalate matters to a manager when needed
support in other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out (FSHO), Exchanges & Returns, Click & Collect as needed
provide customers with a simple and efficient handout experience in FSHO
ensure products and equipment are properly staged in Returns
create a positive customer experience by ensuring accurate order handoff in Click & Collect
contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers

Requirements:

Lifting up to 50lbs and walking frequently
working outdoors 50% of the time
retail environment work, must be able to work nights and weekends
