Job Description:

As a Retail Carts Co-worker, you will ensure an enjoyable shopping experience by maintaining shopping resources, monitoring tool conditions, addressing customer needs, and supporting various customer service areas. You’ll also contribute to IKEA's culture, work closely with a diverse team, and ensure the physical and digital shopping tools are maintained and operational throughout the store.

Job Responsibility:

Provide friendly and efficient car loading and/or unloading services
keep loading zone clean by clearing straps, excess carts, and cardboard
stock and maintain physical shopping tools
fill physical shopping tools at closing
monitor and report issues with shopping tools
address customer needs and resolve issues independently
escalate matters to a manager when needed
support in other customer service areas such as Full Serve Hand Out, Exchanges and Returns, Click and Collect
ensure accurate order handoff in Click and Collect
stage products and equipment in Returns
provide simple and efficient handout experience in Full Serve Hand Out

Requirements:

Lifting up to 50lbs
walking frequently
open availability Monday through Sunday 8am-11pm
ability to work outdoors 50% of the time
completion of a background check and a drug test
