Carrier Sales Representative

• Build and maintain relationships with a network of carriers
• Source and secure reliable carriers to meet the company's transportation needs
• Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions
• Evaluate and select carriers based on performance, cost, and service reliability
• Manage contract negotiations and agreements with carriers
• Coordinate the movement of goods with carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Track and monitor shipments to resolve any issues or delays
• Monitor carrier performance metrics and provide feedback for improvement
• Prepare reports on carrier performance and market trends
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer delivery requirements
• Address and resolve any transportation-related issues promptly
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving

• 2 year experience in the Transport industry
• Experience in a similar position or customer service
• English is necessary
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
• Knowledge of the transportation industry, an asset
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
