Job Description

Our client is seeking a Carrier Relations Analyst to support performance analysis, carrier scorecarding, and customer‑facing operational improvements. This position is heavily focused on data analytics, performance measurement, and carrier management, with all operational data housed in OTM (Oracle Transportation Management). This individual will analyze carrier performance, identify trends, prepare actionable insights, and support QBRs while serving as an emerging SME in carrier operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Pull, analyze, and interpret data from OTM and related logistics systems
  • Build and maintain carrier scorecards, dashboards, and performance reporting
  • Identify operational trends and provide prescriptive recommendations to improve service levels
  • Review and track corrective action logs, ensuring timely follow‑up and accountability
  • Monitor performance KPIs such as: On‑time delivery
  • Billing accuracy
  • Claims/exception activity
  • Compliance metrics
  • Validate billing information and ensure correct, complete carrier data is captured
  • Participate in and periodically lead QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with carriers and customers
  • Serve as a customer‑facing analytical SME, articulating findings and actionable insights
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with planning, operations, and carrier management teams

Requirements

  • Strong analytical background with experience pulling, interpreting, and presenting data
  • Experience producing scorecards, dashboards, or operational KPIs
  • Ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data—beyond just reporting
  • Working knowledge of logistics, transportation, or a planning environment preferred
  • Experience with OTM is required
  • Strong communication skills
  • comfortable operating in a customer‑facing role
  • Ability to support and occasionally lead business reviews (QBRs)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • experience with BI tools is a plus
