Job Description

Our client is seeking a Carrier Relations Analyst to serve as the liaison between business and transportation partners. Additionally, supports the planning and execution of projects related to cross-functional teams by providing analyses and status updates.

Job Responsibility

  • Performs ad-hoc analyses and creates daily and monthly project status reports related to carrier selection, performance and management
  • Creates and presents various reports focusing on claims, pricing trends, carrier rates, forecasts, and lane rating analysis and their impact
  • Host and conduct business reviews with carrier partners and other business partners
  • Provides detailed project plans, status and updates to business partners
  • Analyze current processes and recommends improvements for strategy
  • Measures key performance indicators including scorecard review and distribution
  • Researches, vets, monitors and onboards new transportation providers including Level 1 EDI troubleshooting for new carrier partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business
  • Advanced, demonstrable Microsoft Excel skills
  • Highly organized and skilled in managing projects, stakeholders and meeting deadlines
  • 4+ years of domestic transportation management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, EDI technologies and transportation management software Oracle preferred
