Job Responsibility
Perform general carpentry maintenance, repairs, and renovations on local government commercial buildings and facilities
Execute carpentry works for local residential properties, including structural repairs, fit-outs, and upgrades
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
Ensure all work complies with the National Construction Code (NCC) and local council building standards
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant worksite at all times
Requirements
Australian Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent Australian recognised qualification)
Current Licensing: A valid Queensland Construction White Card and any other relevant current trade licenses
Fitness for Work: Must be able to successfully pass a mandatory pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test
Driver's License: A valid Australian manual driver's license
Safety Focus: A strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices
