Job Description

We're looking for qualified Carpenters to join a leading commercial construction team working on major projects in and around Hamilton. This is hands-on site work Monday to Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm, with long-term projects for the right people.

Job Responsibility

Stripping out doors, walls and internal structures
Installing beams and completing minor construction tasks
Assisting with general site carpentry and small construction duties as required
Working on commercial construction projects across the Hamilton region
Following all site safety procedures and maintaining a tidy work area
Working 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Requirements

Carpentry qualification (or equivalent trade certification)
Your own carpentry tools
Full Class 1 driver licence
Reliable transport to get to and from different sites
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Clean criminal history
Strong work ethic, good communication skills and reliability
Are trade-qualified
Have strong commercial or residential construction experience
Are confident working on active construction sites and with other trades
