Job Description:

At Mr. Handyman, we're an independently owned, local franchise, looking for highly-skilled craftsman who can “do it all” while taking excellent care of our customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create, present, and sell project estimates
  • Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks in residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and drywall repair
  • Diagnose issues and develop effective solutions to address customer needs
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide updates on the status of projects
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
  • Assist with inventory management and procurement of materials as needed
  • Collaborate with team members and management to achieve business objectives and exceed customer expectations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role, with proficiency in various trades and repair techniques
  • Proficiency in creating and presenting job estimates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Own your own professional grade tools for a large variety of jobs
  • Licensed and insurable for driving our vehicle
  • Able to lift 50 pounds independently
  • Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time
  • Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle
