Job Description

The town of Franklin is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join its Maintenance and Trades Division. Reporting to the Deputy Director, this hands-on role performs carpentry, repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance in town and school buildings. Candidates must have a valid Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License, maintain required continuing education, and possess at least five years of commercial, industrial, or building maintenance experience. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and performing manual labor.
