Are you a trade-qualified Carpenter looking to take your skills to the next level? We are currently seeking a meticulous and reliable professional to join our commercial construction team in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). This isn't your average fit-out. You will be working on high-level security infrastructure, requiring a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of site integrity. The Opportunity Initial Phase: Competitive temporary contract. Long-term Prospect: Strong opportunity to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate. The Work: High-spec commercial carpentry within secure facilities think precision, specialised materials, and unique architectural requirements.

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualified: Must hold a Certificate III in Carpentry
  • Australian Citizenship: Essential for security clearance eligibility
  • Clean Record: Must possess (or be able to pass) a National Police Check
  • Mobility: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transport
  • Work Health & Safety: Current White Card and Asbestos Awareness and silica (standard for ACT)
  • A "measure twice, cut once" mentality
  • Experience in commercial settings (metal stud partitioning, suspended ceilings, and high-end fit-outs are a plus)
  • A professional demeanour suitable for sensitive government and commercial sites
  • Reliability: you show up, do the job right, and respect the site protocols
