Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Carpenter to join a busy and skilled team within a leading precast concrete factory. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong carpentry skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for producing high-quality moulds and formwork used in the manufacture of precast concrete products.

Job Responsibility:

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and mould specifications
Constructing, assembling, and repairing timber moulds and formwork for precast products
Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood to precise dimensions
Using hand and power tools to produce accurate and durable formwork
Carrying out quality checks to ensure moulds meet required standards
Assisting with lifting, setting up, and dismantling formwork in the factory
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Supporting other factory duties as required

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter or formwork joiner (minimum 2 years preferred)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong carpentry and woodworking skills with attention to detail
Experience using woodworking machinery, tools, and equipment safely
Knowledge of precast concrete or construction formwork would be an advantage
Good teamwork and communication skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to develop further skills
