Job Description:

To liaise closely and support the Site Supervisor and Head of Estates to ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day running, presentation, and management of the college campus, ensuring a warm, clean, safe, and secure environment for all students, staff, and visitors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Liaise closely and support the Site Supervisor and Head of Estates to ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day running, presentation, and management of the college campus
  • Ensure a warm, clean, safe, and secure environment for all students, staff, and visitors
  • Carry out campus maintenance and repairs as directed
  • Handle day-to-day issues related to works
  • Be conversant with relevant Health and Safety policies
  • Carry out unlocking, locking and security checks
  • Carry out repairs and decoration to an acceptable standard
  • Detect and report building defects
  • Perform routine testing and recording of emergency lights, fire alarms, ladders, steps, working at height systems, water services, fire doors, emergency exits and other compliance-based checks
  • Assist the security warden if required to ensure the security of the building and occupants

Requirements:

  • Full UK Drivers Licence
